Julie Kimmel was Vice Chairwoman and Technical Director of the Hoboken international Film Festival from 2018 to 2020.  She has also been the Director, Camera Op & Additional Editor on the feature film, A Karate Christmas Miracle (distribution release Nov 2019).  Along with that feature, she has been director, associate producer, camera operator and editor for several productions including: The Savant, Four Presidents, In the Building, Briar Rose, Renaissance Man and Respect Is Called Upon.  As well as filmmaking and working with the festival, she also serves as Creative Director for JAM Productions, a creative services and video production company.

Innovative Director/Producer/Editor with 30 years of experience in all aspects of video production. Visionary creator, editor, storyteller and project manager who has demonstrated to take an idea from concept to delivery to produce entertaining and inspiring pieces. Collaborative in working closely with strategic and creative teams to develop and produce quality video content. Expertise in preproduction, logistics, planning, production, custom graphics, special effects and asset management.
